I don't think

I just know, there is not one person here in this world who doesn't want to wake up and do what they love. And yet we do not teach this very simple way of living to our children.

We teach them to choose the best opportunity, to save for retirement, to get to work on time, to live within "their means".

And yet if we always lived within our means, according to schedule, we wouldn't be able to wake up to all that could be.

It's like we refuse to believe in the human intelligence of letting things evolve naturally, as all life forms do.

That is why I do what I do - why I live this adventurous life, that inspires me to write. I do it not just for me, but because it is irresistible a condition that will not allow me to feel anything more than love.

I do it for all of you who want to feel what I feel.

All of you who, too, have or have had this wild energy coursing through you. You who just know there is more to you than what we are.

I do it to be bold, to challenge myself, to expand - I do it because it is not easy to live with your heart wide open in a land with so many living under extreme limitations.

And that is exactly the opportunity I am blessed to discover each and every day. Is that we can all be better humans under any circumstances. And what does that mean - to be better?

I do it because I believe there is no greater work to be doing than to be making love - and that too requires, attention, discipline, discernment and the acknowledgement and respect of everyone else.

Thank you for this opportunity to love. I couldn't receive it if it didn't come from within the same part of me that is in you too.
